How did you discover your love for dance? I have been dancing for as long as I remember. As a child I was putting on vinyl records of classical music and making up my own dancing moves. At the age of 10 I have learned about the auditions at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, known here as the Bolshoi Ballet School. To the amazement of my parents I have passed all exams and was admitted to the school.
Best dance memory: It is very hard to choose really. I was blessed to have an amazing carrier: My first ever step on stage happened in the role of one of Cupids in DQ – it was at the Bolshoi Theatre. I learned the role of Odette/Odille over one night to substitute the principal ballerina, and danced like in a dream on Northampton stage. I‘ve performed in Singapore and Philippines, Europe and US, in the middle of Brazil rainforest and to the North of the Polar Circle. But the most special stage to me is Chichester Festival Theatre, here I have met my husband.
When not dancing: I teach others to dance :-)). I spent my free time with my husband and two children.
Fun fact: My first tour abroad was in the UK, I was performing in the Chichester Festival Theatre with Moscow Festival Ballet company.
